Aftercare Care
Recommendation for the Best Microneedling
CLEAN – Use a gentle cleanser and tepid water to cleanse the face for 72 hours post-treatment. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area, and do not use powered cleansing brushes for at least one week after your treatment. Keep pillow cases ultra-clean while your face is healing to avoid any risk of infection.
HEAL – We recommend Healing cream and post-treatment, as its properties are ideal to help heal the skin by soothing and lessening irritation.
HYDRATE – Following your Microneedling treatment, your skin may feel drier than normal. Hyaluronic Acid is an ideal ingredient you can use to hydrate and restore the skin back to perfect balance. Stay properly hydrated by drinking at least 64 oz of water each day
STIMULATE – In the days following your Microneedling treatment, and as the skin starts to regenerate, collagen-stimulating peptides are ideal to maximize the effects of the stimulation already started by the microneedling.
MAKEUP – Refrain from wearing makeup for at least 24 hours (the more days you can spend bare-faced, the better)
PROTECT – Immediately after the procedure, your skin professional will apply a broad spectrum UVA/UVB, SPF 30 sunscreen to your skin. We recommend a chemical-free sunscreen. Keep in mind that you should continue to use sunscreen everyday.General guideline:
Days 1-3: Gentle cleanser only, no actives (retinol, acids, vitamin C), avoid direct sunlight, avoid swimming. (first 24 hours post treatment avoid strenuous activity). It is a good idea to have a clean pillow case.
Days 4-7: You may slowly reintroduce mild skincare if the skin feels calm.
After day 7: Physical exfoliation (scrubs) can usually resume - only if there’s no redness, peeling, or sensitivity.
